I graduated from Emily Carr University with a degree in fine arts. I have been employed as: an art curator, art mentor, art instructor, art coordinator for children at-risk in after school programs, art workshop coordinator, artist-in-residence coordinator, art juror, and gallery docent. I have been a board member with the Manitoba Artist Council and the Manitoba Arts Advisory Committee. I have done self-directed research in Mexico, the Netherlands, England, France, Italy, and the United States. Some of my publications include Norman McKenzie: Native Faces, Rosalie Favell: Portraits of a Young Artist and Greg Staats: A Personal View. I was the subject of a television biography entitled Art: A Life Time Affair.
